Why aren’t narcissists called by their clinical name, psychopaths?

 

Narcissists are not called psychopaths because they are two different personality disorders.

People with psychopathy often have a history of criminal behavior, and they may also be violent.

While there are some similarities between NPD and psychopathy, they are two distinct disorders. It is important to note that not all people with NPD are violent, and not all people with psychopathy are criminals. However, both disorders can have a significant impact on a person's life and relationships.
